I’m Amna.
A baker, food photographer, food stylist, and recipe developer. This is my blog where I share my passion for baking, cooking, and food photography with you all.
Formally, I have a degree in Physical therapy. My love for baking began at the age of sixteen. I initially started baking for my friends and family and all the appreciation made me feel loved. With every successful experiment in my kitchen, I gained more confidence that gave life to this space, The cup affair.
I am a self-taught baker and every recipe you find on this blog is a result of a lot of research and experiments, or it belongs to my mother. I got a cooking gene from my mother, and she makes incredible dishes. No one can make a vanilla cake without any measurements like her!
I’m obsessed with small-batch desserts, dessert boards, and tea cakes. I find the entire process of planning, executing, and shooting a recipe very calming
Here on my blog, you will find recipes of mostly desserts that are easy-to-follow, some savory and some inspired by traditional Pakistani cuisine.

Lately, I’ve become a little obsessed with food photography.
Baking is a wonderful way to relax, and when I combine it with my love of photography, it becomes even more soothing. Photography helps me to express myself and bring out the beauty that surrounds us
As a photographer, I pay attention to the little things. Different textures, elements, nature, lighting, expressions, and settings- all catch my attention.
Looking back over the years and seeing how far I’ve come motivates me to continue to learn, adapt, and experiment with various compositions and lighting.
