Step 1:
(Caramel Walnut Filling)
- In a saucepan heat sugar and water. Stir until sugar is completely dissolved and deep amber in color.
- Reduce heat to medium and slowly stir in butter until dissolved.
- Next, add cream and cook until sauce thickens.
- Lastly, add salt and chopped walnuts. Mix.

Step 2:
- Pour caramel walnut filling into pre-baked crust and bake at 180C for ten minutes.
- Allow it to cool completely before removing from tart tin.
- Serve warm or cold. Enjoy!
